Recently, Jiangsu Wofeng New Materials Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Xinchnya New Materials Co., Ltd., subsidiaries of Yangzhou Tengfei Cable & Electrical Materials Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Yangzhou Tengfei), have successfully completed the establishment of trade unions. The two subsidiaries held their First Staff Congress on April 25 and June 13 respectively. Liu Zhaoqin, Chairman of the General Trade Union of Yangzhou Tengfei, Yang Yun and Liang Jun, General Managers of the two subsidiaries, as well as staff representatives attended the conferences, jointly witnessing new progress and a new milestone in the construction of grassroots trade unions within the enterprise.
The two staff congresses were organized in strict accordance with the Trade Union Law and the Constitution of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, featuring standardized procedures, complete sessions and rigorous order. All participating staff representatives fulfilled their duties and exercised democratic rights with a serious and responsible attitude. Through standardized democratic election procedures, the First Trade Union Committee and principal trade union officials of the two subsidiaries were elected. The smooth completion of the election has formally improved the organizational structure of grassroots trade unions and laid a solid foundation for the enterprise's democratic management.
At the conferences, person-in-charges of each subsidiary delivered speeches one after another, extending warm congratulations to the newly elected trade union teams and putting forward clear expectations for follow-up trade union work. They pointed out that the newly founded trade unions should fully act as a bridge and bond between the Party and the staff, take root in frontline posts, serve all employees, maintain close ties with every worker, unite team synergy and inject internal driving force into the enterprise's operation and development.
Liu Zhaoqin, Chairman of the General Trade Union of Yangzhou Tengfei, fully affirmed the successful establishment of trade unions in the two subsidiaries and set out requirements for the performance and development of grassroots trade unions. She stressed that grassroots trade unions should stay committed to their original aspiration of service, earnestly fulfill core responsibilities including safeguarding staff rights and interests, providing thoughtful services and uniting the workforce, continuously enrich staff cultural and sports activities, effectively enhance employees' sense of belonging and happiness, and support the steady and long-term development of the enterprise. Afterwards, the newly elected trade union chairmen of the two subsidiaries delivered statements respectively. Both pledged to stand fast at their trade union posts, perform duties conscientiously, listen to staff demands on a regular basis, accurately solve practical difficulties of employees, and sincerely act as reliable advocates and caring "family members" for all staff.
During the conferences, the First Trade Union Committee read out a work safety initiative on site. It called on all employees to firmly establish the philosophy of safe development, strictly abide by work safety operation specifications, fully implement personal post safety responsibilities, always keep high alert on work safety, strengthen coordination across all staff, and jointly build a solid barrier for enterprise work safety through joint efforts of all personnel.
The successful establishment of grassroots trade unions in the two subsidiaries marks an important measure for Yangzhou Tengfei to optimize internal organizational construction, deepen enterprise democratic management and implement staff care initiatives. Moving forward, the trade unions of Jiangsu Wofeng New Materials Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Xinchnya New Materials Co., Ltd. will take this staff congress as a new starting point, orderly advance all key trade union work, rally the progressive strength of all employees, and empower high-quality and sustainable corporate development through high-standard trade union development.(Reported by Li Yun Zou Hongfei)
