At 9:48 am on July 22nd, with the last student boarding the high-speed rail to Xi'an, the half month summer education practice activity of Xi'an Jiaotong University teachers and students at Yangzhou Tengfei Cable and Electrical Materials Co., Ltd. was successfully concluded.

      In recent years, the company has been engaged in technical exchanges and project cooperation with Xi'an Jiaotong University in the field of cable materials. In May of this year, the two sides signed an agreement on the co construction of an off campus practical education base between Xi'an Jiaotong University and Yangzhou Tengfei Cable Electrical Materials Co., Ltd. On July 7th, the first batch of fourteen students were led by Associate Professor Xu Man from the School of Electrical Engineering to carry out practical education activities in the company. During the practical education period in the company, teachers and students from Xi'an Jiaotong University have diverse forms of activities and rich and colorful lives. They not only listen to the company's tutoring teacher's special lectures collectively, but also take turns visiting the company and subsidiary workshops in groups to learn about specific products; There are both brainstorming discussions on production technology and process flow with clear themes, as well as in-depth experiential activities where mentors and apprentices pair up to become a day's apprentice.

      The half month practical education activity has enabled students to have a certain understanding of the company's product characteristics, process flow, technological innovation, and equipment condition. Based on their own learning, students have also put forward many suggestions on the company's process improvement, product innovation, on-site management, equipment transformation, and other aspects. General Manager Zhang Yun of the company attaches great importance to this practical education activity and personally introduces the company's development plan, business status, entrepreneurial experience, and life insights to teachers and students. He hopes that this practical education activity can provide useful help for students' future work, learning, and career development. He also hopes that students can become external promoters, information officers, and good advisors of the company, and contribute many good strategies for the company's future innovation and development.

      During the practical education activities, Xi'an Jiaotong University appointed Deputy Secretary Song Jie of the School of Electrical Engineering to visit the teachers and students of the company, and held a plaque awarding ceremony for the "Xi'an Jiaotong University Yangzhou Tengfei Company Off campus Practical Education Base".

      In order to enrich practical education activities, the company also organized technical personnel to discuss talent introduction, product research and development, project cooperation, etc. with leaders and teachers from Xi'an Jiaotong University. Teachers and students were also arranged to visit the "He Garden" of the He Culture Base in Baoying Shuixiang, and visited industry related enterprises "Baosheng Technology Innovation Co., Ltd." and "Jiangsu Fida Baokai Electric Co., Ltd." Visited the "Zhou Enlai Youth Reading Office", "Zhou Enlai Memorial Hall", "Zhou Enlai Former Residence", and "Jiang Zemin Former Residence". The teachers and students expressed that this activity has benefited greatly. They not only understood the overview of the cable auxiliary material industry, but also realized the difficulties of enterprise innovation and development.
