In March this year, Yangzhou Tengfei Cable & Electrical Material Co., Ltd. (“Yangzhou Tengfei”) invested more than RMB 100,000 to launch the construction of a standardized archives room. After four months of work, the facility was recently completed and put into use, and was recognized by the Baoying County Archives Bureau as “the first model standardized archives room run by a private enterprise in Baoying County.”    

Founded in 2001, Yangzhou Tengfei has grown into a leading domestic manufacturer of cable auxiliary materials and a national key “little giant” enterprise specializing in niche and cutting-edge technologies. Its development has generated a wealth of historical records and innovative achievements. At the end of 2024, Chairman Zhang Yun’s personal archives were included in the first batch of outstanding entrepreneur archives of both Yangzhou City and Baoying County. Building on this, the company, under the guidance of the county archives bureau, made the archives room a key annual cultural-infrastructure project.    

The new archives room features a complete system and clear classification, covering 11 first-level categories such as Party-mass work, administrative management, business operations, production technology and product manufacturing. A total of 5,015 files/items have been catalogued and stored, including 133 physical records (trophies, medals, certificates, etc.), fully meeting standardized requirements and passing inspection by the county archives.    

The archives project is an important step for Yangzhou Tengfei to preserve corporate history and promote corporate culture.
