Recently, the Yangzhou Municipal Bureau of Industry & Information Technology, together with the Municipal Development & Reform Commission, Science & Technology Bureau, Finance Bureau and Tax Bureau, released the 2025 list of municipal-level enterprise technology centres. Jiangsu Xinchenya New Material Co., Ltd. (“Xinchenya”) was successfully included, marking high official recognition of its technological innovation and R&D capabilities as well as its outstanding contributions to the cable-accessory-materials sector.    

The designated companies are advanced manufacturers within Yangzhou’s “613” industrial system and were selected after enterprise application, local recommendation, data verification, credit checks and inter-departmental review. An enterprise technology centre is a key platform for technological innovation and new-product development. The award not only affirms Xinchenya’s comprehensive innovation strength but also lays a solid foundation for applying for a provincial-level centre. Since its establishment in 2020 the company has pursued a high-tech, innovation-driven path, earning titles such as Jiangsu Innovative SME, Jiangsu Technology-based SME and the Jiangsu Science & Technology Vice-President project.    

Going forward, Xinchenya will continue to expand its economic scale, increase R&D investment, purchase state-of-the-art equipment and broaden talent-recruitment channels to strengthen independent innovation and underpin high-quality corporate development.  (Reported by Zou Hongfei)
